Homebound

The Homebound Ministry is a compassionate outreach of our parish community, dedicated to bringing the presence of Christ to those who are unable to attend Mass due to illness, injury, advanced age, or other physical limitations. At the heart of this ministry is the sacred act of bringing the Holy Eucharist—Jesus Himself—to our brothers and sisters confined to their homes, hospitals, or care facilities.

More than just a delivery of the Sacrament, the Homebound Ministry offers spiritual companionship, encouragement, and connection. Trained ministers visit regularly, offering prayer, Scripture, and conversation that uplift the heart and nourish the soul. These visits remind the homebound that they are not forgotten—they remain a vital part of our parish family.

Through this ministry, the Church extends its embrace beyond the walls of the sanctuary, ensuring that all parishioners, regardless of physical ability, continue to participate in the life of the Church and receive the grace of the sacraments. In doing so, the Homebound Ministry embodies Christ’s call to care for the sick and isolated, offering both comfort and communion.

If you or a loved one would benefit from a visit, or if you feel called to serve in this ministry, we invite you to contact the parish office. Your presence could be a lifeline of faith and love to someone in need.
