Finance Council
The Finance Council serves as a trusted advisory body to the Pastor, offering guidance on both routine and extraordinary financial matters. Composed of dedicated parish volunteers, the council plays a vital role in ensuring the responsible stewardship of our parish’s resources.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and overseeing the parish budget and financial operations
- Monitoring income and expenditures
- Providing regular financial reports to the parish, Pastor, and Diocese
- Advising on major purchases and capital improvement projects
- Coordinating with the Diocese for project approvals and oversight
The Finance Council also serves as a safeguard—our first and most thorough line of defense against financial mismanagement or risk.
The Finance Council of Our Lady of the Rosary meets on the first Wednesday of each month.
