Finance Council

The Finance Council serves as a trusted advisory body to the Pastor, offering guidance on both routine and extraordinary financial matters. Composed of dedicated parish volunteers, the council plays a vital role in ensuring the responsible stewardship of our parish’s resources.

Responsibilities include:

Planning and overseeing the parish budget and financial operations
Monitoring income and expenditures
Providing regular financial reports to the parish, Pastor, and Diocese
Advising on major purchases and capital improvement projects
Coordinating with the Diocese for project approvals and oversight

The Finance Council also serves as a safeguard—our first and most thorough line of defense against financial mismanagement or risk.

The Finance Council of Our Lady of the Rosary meets on the first Wednesday of each month.
