At Our Lady of the Rosary, the Pro-Life Ministry is rooted in the Catholic Church’s unwavering belief in the dignity and sanctity of every human life — from conception to natural death. Guided by the Gospel and the teachings of the Church, we seek to build a culture of life through prayer, compassion, outreach and community support.
We believe that every human life is a precious gift from God and deserves to be treated with dignity, love, and respect.
How We Support Pro-Life
Our ministry participates in a variety of pro-life efforts that promote prayer, support, and outreach, including:
- Weekly prayer and reflection at the parish
- Participation in peaceful public prayer vigils
- Support for local pregnancy resource centers
- Parish-wide collections and outreach projects

Baby Bottle Drive
Help support Birthchoice Pregnancy Center in Raleigh, NC,
Pick up a baby bottle in the church narthex/lobby and fill it with change. Your donation helps provide services such as:
- Supplies for Pregnancy tests
- One lifesaving Ultrasound and medical assessment
- Pregnancy resources and education
- Post-abortion counseling
Fill a bottle. Change a life. Support those who choose life.
Please return bottles by April 12.
Past Events
40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil
The 40 Days for Life Campaign begins on Ash Wednesday each year. The campaign consists of 40 days centered on prayer, fasting, community outreach and peaceful vigils at abortion clinics.
During the 40 Days for Life, there are sign up times to volunteer with other church members.
You can also pray for life year-round, any day Monday through Sunday from 7 am – 7 pm.

During the 40 Days for Life campaign Pro-Life Meditations on the Mysteries of the Rosary were offered every Thursday at Our Lady of the Rosary. We encourage church members to continue to pray the rosary in support of Life throughout the year.
