Reconciliation (Confession/Penance)
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a powerful encounter with God’s mercy, healing, and grace. Through this sacrament, we are invited to come before the Lord with honesty and humility, confessing our sins and opening our hearts to the forgiveness only He can give.
In Reconciliation, we receive absolution through the ministry of the priest, who acts in the person of Christ. Our sins are forgiven, our hearts are renewed, and we are restored to full communion with God and the Church. It is not only a moment of cleansing, but also of strengthening—helping us resist future temptation and grow in virtue.
Whether it’s been weeks, months, or years, the Sacrament of Reconciliation is always an open door to a fresh start. It’s a sacred gift of peace and restoration, where we truly experience the loving embrace of the Father.
